We are a grassroots mutual-aid group of asylum seekers, refugees, migrants and their allies. We stand in solidarity with migrants of all backgrounds and welcome anyone affected by the UK's immigration system. We believe that no one is illegal. We oppose borders and immigration controls, seeking free movement for all. We have no hierarchy and every voice is equal.
OUR AIMS:
~ Providing tools and sharing knowledge for self-support throughout the asylum-seeking process.
~ Supporting the well-being of our group members.
~ Organising social events for our members.
~ Sharing knowledge of the realities of unjust immigration policies, the hostile environment and border violence.
~ Challenging negative public perceptions about refugees and asylum seekers
~ Supporting our members to find volunteering positions if they want to.
~ Signposting to other organisations where we are unable to meet certain needs.
~ To expand this list based on the needs of our members.
