<p>Extinction Rebellion York (XR York) is part of the international environmental pressure group&nbsp;<a href="https://rebellion.earth/">Extinction Rebellion</a>. . We use non-violent direct action and civil disobedience to urge decision makers and leaders to act now to reduce the impact of climate change. Our campaigns led to the City of York Council declaring a climate emergency in 2019 and pledging to reach Net Zero by 2030.</p>
